About Me
Carmen is a dedicated and passionate game designer who is forever enchanted by the power of games to create full immersive experiences for gamers. She started out writing stories at a young age, then drawing comics, composing music, and went on to study and practice tools of the design trade upon entering university. Always figuring out new ways to handle novel situations, she loves to get involved with exploring, experimenting, and learning to put the latest technologies to cool and fun uses. She even likes to use old technology in new entertaining ways. Carmen has recently completed the Masters of Digital Media program at the Center for Digital Media of Great Northern Way Campus, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Previously, she was an undergraduate student of Simon Fraser University studying Interactive Arts & Technology (SIAT) with a minor in Psychology. With the learned mindset of interaction design, user-experience design, and user-centric design, Carmen is always thinking about creating designs for both technology and games with the target user group(s) in mind.
